I woke up this morning with the best "morning after" feeling ever. The good kind...not the bad kind. *wink* But then I realised...I was still alone. *sigh* Was it a dream? A fantasy? Does it matter if there was no 'real excitement' to the evening at all?

In other matters. RUM!

Rum 'til You Float! - previously known as Yay Rum!

Take any four of the five known Malibu rums. In a mixing glass, aka tumbler, aka beer pint, aka whatever else you wanna call it, fill with ice. Add 1 oz. of each of the four rums. Fill with pineapple juice. Top with a splash of Sprite (or any other lemon-lime type soda if you're open to them). Enjoy!



So far, I've decided that I prefer Malibu Coconut, Passion Fruit, Pineapple, and Mango as my four. Banana is okay...but...I like my other four. Wheee. As far as I know, I created this drink, though it's quite possible that it was out there somewhere and I just had never heard of it. But myself, kalerial, rosesfade, and herophelia are all credited with the name...which was discovered during an extremely entertaining viewing of Muppet Treasure Island. =D

I don't know about the addition of Sprite (or the four different rum flavors), but John and I first experienced Rum & Pineapple juice at Burning Man. Ooooh so tasty and easy to get plastered with! I believe that's the night I sacrificed my bandana to the playa.

Damn skippy it's the best drink ever! And aren't you so excited that you helped give it a name? =P If not for you, we never would have caught that line in the movie because we wouldn't have been watching it and laughing at EVERY SINGLE THING IN IT...

And YES. KUNG FU PANDA. Jess wanted to go see it tonight and I was all...but I have to see it with Nell... =( Good thing I already had plans with the fam for dinner. =P

Ummm...Father's Day is happening this weekend. And unfortunately my days off this week are today and tomorrow. =(


We have to make a drink after seeing the movie...something to do with rum and panda and kung fu!

Try a little bit of cranberry juice instead of rum. One of my Disney friends introduced it to me... gives it a great contrast in color and tastes fucking awesome =D At least with coconut rum. I've never tried it with the other flavors.
