The Mystery of Me

It's not even November and I'm writing like it is. 1254 words in three hours. I shouldn't stop but it's late and I have to work in the morning! My new best friend? Post its and a pen! They will be in my pocket if I think of any new plot points while at work. =) Very happy about this one. Let's see how long it lasts.

I am a woman. An ordinary woman, with an ordinary job, in an ordinary city. But I live in a man's world. A man's world, where no man gives me the respect I deserve, a world where I work hard to be an individual and where I work hard to be noticed, yet where people work hard to ignore me. But for some reason, I keep going. And that's where the catch is. Everyone always tells me that being ordinary and enjoying my mediocrity is wrong. I'm out to show people that ordinary and mediocre isn't as bad as they think it is. But here it is, the beginning of my story. It's just an ordinary beginning, with an ordinary story, and one that will probably have an ordinary ending.
