I don't know what's in store for Kushiel's Chosen or Kushiel's Avatar, but once I got into it Kushiel's Dart is a really intricately written story that is rather amazing. =)

And Phedre/Joscelin is now and forever my OTP. And don't tell me that the Tsingano is going to ruin it because I don't care. I have so much love for Joscelin it's not even funny.

*wants belt daggers and a sword...*

Oh, and Carey's illustrators don't do her character any justice. =(

I love Phedre and Joscelin. I love Hyacinthe. I love all three of those characters. I love Joscelin and Hyacinthe equally yet differently. And let me tell you, I bawled for a good half an hour about Hyacinthe. I'm assuming you've finished Kushiel's Dart. If you have, then you know what I'm referring to. If you haven't, I really haven't spoiled anything for you.

I'm actually getting the Valerian marque on my back. Don't judge me!

I've finished it. I felt for Phedre when Hyacinthe stepped in there at the end...but, I dunno...there was something about Hyacinthe that really annoyed me, right from the start.

And that's totally awesome about the marque! I'd do it too...if I weren't so godammed afraid of needles... *squick*

*grumbles; mutters something uncomplimentary about Joscelin under her breath*

But go read Chosen immediately, because you'll see why I heart Ysandre with every fibre of my being.

Have already started Chosen! =)

And you can't grumble about Joscelin, you just can't! *pout*

*really wants to know where that uncomplimentary comment stems from*

If I had been born into that universe...I would totally be Cassiline. Joscelin...no words. LOVE. Leave my boy alone!

There will be no convincing her, dear. I love him unconditionally as well, but she... well, that would be a spoiler, now wouldn't it? ^__~

But eeee! So glad you're reading them, they're wonderful.

*would yell a Ysandre quote at you if it wouldn't be a spoiler but probably you can guess which one* :P

They are wonderful! I held off at first, mainly because I didn't want to get stuck in another fandom, but now I'm so glad I finally got around to them! And they're good to the point where...I don't need a fandom. So far, there's really nothing in the story that I look at and say "I would have done that differently" like I did with HP...or a couple other series I've read.

Oh, you'll find out. :P

And yeah, you'd probably make a good Cassiline. If it weren't for the girl-parts. ;)

Tis true...but I'm beginning to think more and more that--and yes, if you really think about it this will make absolutely no sense--my soul is male.
