Ha. Eddie Carmichael's drama queen stuff is really based on my own, because in real life, I am a COMPLETE drama queen. Betcha none of you knew that one. O_O
Anyway. I've been offered two opportunities, both of which I would really like to do, but for obvious reason will not be able to do them both.
ONE . I've been offered a position as a Shift Coordinator at the restaurant I work at. Kind of a big deal if I'm looking into restaurant management, as it's a "part time" management job. I'll be working as a manager for two days a week, about ten hour shifts each, and then still serving for three. They're offering $12/hr.
TWO . A friend of my older sister has recently been hired as a band director at a school in a not-so-nearby district. Problem is, they're requiring that she teach two choir classes and she has no idea what something like that would entail. They've allowed her to hire an "assistant" (who doesn't need to be certified!) who would help her out and she's been informed of me. I'm confident in my singing abilities and I'm confident that I would be able to help out. I was a section leader back in choir in high school and since leaving have only improved in my vocal abilities...or so said my vocal professor when I was in community college. *shrugs* It would most-likely be a Mon-Fri, but keeping in mind that it's only two classes a day. I think. I also don't have all the details here. But it would probably pay $10/hr thinks my older sib.
Ideally, I would be able to do both. But realistically, it's not going to be possible.
So. I'm at a bit of a loss since I've really found a joy in the restaurant/food industry. But music is my passion and I've always wanted a chance to really get into it... Luckily, I don't have to decide right away. *sigh*
