So. I didn't make it past the first round of American Idol auditions. Not that I expected to, I just did it for the hell of it. =)
But it made me realise something. A couple of things, actually.
1) I have a much more musical theatre sound than I do a pop sound.
2) I need PRACTISE and lots of it.
3) I have a much better sense of where I want to take my life. I want it to revolve more around musical theatre--an idea that I was harbouring during high school but that I've come to believe is more my calling now--and that I want to start getting into that stuff NOW.
So yes. American Idol, thank you for helping me figure this out.

That is awesome. I really want to one day just to say that I did. O.O
maybe you will be on the audition thinger for the new season!!!

I probably won't be on the audition episodes for the new season because they don't tape the first round of auditions. What a lot of people don't know is that there are three rounds of auditions, and only the third round actually gets taped. Boo. It makes me dislike AI even more, though, because they use so many gimmicks and were completely unorganised as far as the audition process went. It was grueling and completely sucked.
